A Cloud Study Jam is an instructor-led “study session” where attendees work through practice labs to master key principles and tools within Google Cloud.

With a triple-digit rise in cyberattacks, cloud security has become one of the most in-demand skills in the market. Google Cloud has a suite of specific tools to help ensure control and visibility across your environment. Understanding these security tools and how to effectively employ them is critical in the protection of your environment.

Lunch and Learn: (12-1PM ET)

• Secure architecture principles in Google Cloud
• Resource hierarchy and organization
• Identity management and access control
• Establishing a secure Google Cloud Landing Zone

Hands-On Training: (1-2:30PM ET)

During the hands-on portion of this session, you will get expert-led practice within the Security and Identity Fundamentals quest in Qwiklabs. Attendees will understand how to configure tools for access management, environment visibility, and data loss solutions. It is recommended you have some experience with Google Cloud.

Trever Jackson has been pushing business IT modernization strategies for over 15 years. With a background in Security and Networking, Trever has helped customers of all kinds modernize and secure their applications. Trever has guided customers holding positions with VMware, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud. 

Anirudh’s passion is to help everyone easily understand how to stay secure in our hyper-connected world. He has a decade of experience as a Security Architect in the financial industry, helping businesses achieve market advantage by adopting public cloud technologies securely and maintaining compliance. When not helping customers, you can find him having outdoor adventures with his wife and puppies or watching Horror/Sci-Fi movies
